September 11 Walton Shore drive with Terry and Kris Jones:

We have put together a basic itinerary of the Walton Shore Drive on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Our drive will start at 9:15 at the new Tim Horton's in Bedford at, next to the new Canadian Tire Store and close to Wal Mart. This is located at Exit 4C coming from either Bedford or from the Airport area.

Meeting at the Tim Hortons at 9:15 am we will depart at 9:30 am with our first stop being at the Irving Big Stop in Enfield for anyone wishing to join us there. We will leave the Irving Big Stop at 10:15 am. It will take approximately two hours to reach Windsor via back roads. In Windsor we will be stopping for lunch at the Tim Hortons/McDonalds located next to the Superstore. Our plan is to park in the Superstore parking just up from McDonalds as there would be more parking available. We will leave this area at 12:45 pm going along the Walton Shore to the Walton Lighthouse for a short stop, continuing on to Burntcoat Head Lighthouse, to the Maitland Bridge Tourist Bureau and driving on the secondary road to Truro stopping at the Palliser Restaurant for dinner, arriving at approximately 5 pm.

If you would like to join us for the ride and/or dinner please let us know as we will have to advise the numbers for the restaurant by Thursday, September 2.
